Kim Smith is the proud owner of ck hair designs with partner Cynthia George. Kim has been in the beauty industry for over two decades. Starting out as an eager teenager, she was ready to beautify the world. She has been a stylist for over 23 years and a salon owner for 6 years. Working behind the chair and running a successful business is a breeze for this savvy business woman. She plans to expand ck hair designs' success and believes with her team of talented stylists, it will exceed her wildest expectations. Kim has trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami, FL and with world renowned hair guru Paul Mitchell and his staff. Kim was also asked to do famous TV personality Joan Rivers' hair for a charity event. Top notch is Kim's specialty.

Jack Kaplan brings vast knowledge to the team at ck hair designs on Lawndale. Jack has been a stylist and salon owner for over forty years. He began cutting hair at the age of only 14 in New York City. Born and raised in the city, Jack adapted to the fast paced life, worked for top designers, and became an award winning platform artist all by the age of 25. He is an expert in speed cutting quickly and can teach you to style your own hair. Problem hair - not a problem for Jack - he enjoys the challenge. Jack loves cutting and coloring short sassy hair. Beverly Stanley is one of our top master stylists and has been living and working in the Triad for over 25 years. With experience on her side, Beverly has studied under the tutelage of Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Wella, Sebastian, and Matrix, among many others. She has participated in many charitable events and has been involved with causes such as multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and the American Heart Association. Beverly most enjoys cutting and coloring hair based on a personal analysis of her clients face and hair. She has been at ck hair designs for the past five years.

Greensboro has been lucky to have had stylist Jennifer Groce working here for the past 23 years. ck is proud to have her as an integral part of our team. She comes by her love of hair styling honestly. Both of her Grandfathers were barbers! Carrying on this small tradition makes her love her job even more. Jennifer likes to work with all types of hair, but fine and straight hair are her area of special interest. She has studied Matrix and Goldwell color extensively, and has her master certification in both lines. She also spends time with senior citizens, volunteering once a week at local retirement homes. Masanori Takahashi, originally from Tokyo, Japan, studied at the famed Yamano Aiko School of Beauty. After graduating at the top of his class, Masanori headed for the United States, looking for amazing opportunities in the fashion industry. He has been cutting and coloring hair for over 22 years and has studied with the best of the best at the Tigi Academy in NYC. Masanori prides himself on his precision cuts and platform ready styles.
